Vendor Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Zar Apparel, an online fashion marketplace that connects fashion brands and designers with customers. These Vendor Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Zar Apparel platform as a vendor. By signing up and selling your products on Zar Apparel, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Vendor Registration and Account

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts to register as a vendor on Zar Apparel.

2.2 Registration Process

To become a vendor, you must complete the registration process by providing accurate information about your business, including your business name, contact details, product categories, and payment information.

2.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify Zar Apparel immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Product Listings

3.1 Product Standards

All products listed on Zar Apparel must meet our quality standards and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Products should be accurately described with clear, high-quality images.

3.2 Prohibited Products

The sale of counterfeit, illegal, or hazardous products is strictly prohibited. Zar Apparel reserves the right to remove any product listing that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.

3.3 Listing Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that your product listings are accurate and up-to-date. This includes product descriptions, prices, availability, and any other relevant information.

4. Orders and Fulfillment

4.1 Order Processing

You must promptly process and fulfill orders received through Zar Apparel. Orders should be shipped within the timeframe specified in your product listing.

4.2 Shipping and Delivery

You are responsible for shipping products to customers. Ensure that products are packaged securely and shipped using reliable carriers. Provide tracking information to customers where applicable.

4.3 Returns and Refunds

You must comply with Zar Apparel’s returns policy. Handle customer returns and refunds promptly and professionally. Refunds should be processed through the Zar Apparel platform.

5. Payments

5.1 Commission and Fees

Zar Apparel charges a commission on each sale made through the platform. The commission rate is specified in your vendor dashboard. Other fees, if applicable, will be clearly communicated to you.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments for orders, minus applicable commissions and fees, will be processed on a bi-weekly basis. Payments will be made via the payment method specified in your account.

6. Marketing and Promotion

6.1 Marketing Support

Zar Apparel may offer marketing and promotional opportunities to help you reach more customers. Participation in these opportunities may be subject to additional terms and conditions.

6.2 Discounts and Promotions

You may offer discounts and promotions on your products. Use the vendor dashboard to set up and manage promotional campaigns.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in your products and listings. By listing your products on Zar Apparel, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your product listings on our platform and in marketing materials.

7.2 Infringement

You represent and warrant that your products and listings do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. Notify Zar Apparel immediately if you become aware of any claims of infringement.

8. Compliance and Conduct

8.1 Legal Compliance

You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in relation to your use of Zar Apparel and the sale of your products.

8.2 Code of Conduct

Conduct your business in a professional and ethical manner. Treat customers and Zar Apparel staff with respect and courtesy.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by Vendor

You may terminate your vendor account at any time by providing written notice to Zar Apparel. Termination will not affect any pending orders or your obligation to fulfill them.

9.2 Termination by Zar Apparel

Zar Apparel reserves the right to suspend or terminate your vendor account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason deemed appropriate by Zar Apparel.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Disclaimer

Zar Apparel provides the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties or representations regarding the platform’s availability, reliability, or suitability for your purposes.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zar Apparel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with these Terms, your use of the platform, or the sale of your products.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Zar Apparel, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any laws or regulations.
